Hello all, long time no post!~

Sooo, it was recently Valentines Day and I got to spend it with my adorkable boyfriend (the one in the Adventure Time picture ;D). We both agreed we wouldn't celebrate it, but we ended up treating each other with gifts anyway cause we're both soppy. ♥

So, I got him some gifts and I drew him this picture for his computer wallpaper.
He has a dual-screen thus explaining the rather long length of it!

My boyfriend is a big fan of an illustrator called Drew Millward ([link]) and I've wanted to try illustration of his style for a loooong time, as I feel it would definitely benefit me to have a knowledge of the unique style in the future. I did however want to mix in a little of my own 'typical animu' style as well though, as it made it more personal and less imitationey in my eyes.

So, I spent days and days planning and drawing this till Valentines Day, when I blindfolded my boyfriend and set his wallpaper to this. And he really liked it! Yay! ♥
I plan to do more of this 'illustrative' styled work in the future, as it's a lot of fun and, again, will definitely benefit me to know how to do it!
